Notary’s Office

Notaries in our law office

  • Dr. Eckhard Bax
  • Dr. Ingo Brasat

The notary provides impartial counselling to the client in all civil law matters. He supports and advises his clients in all private and business affairs e. g. real estate affairs, family and inheritance affairs as well as in successor regulations. He also grants assistance in corporate transactions and in all other trade and corporate law issues. The notary’s prime task is to prevent disputes between the parties at an early stage with balanced and proficient contracts as well as solutions to problems.  The declarations of intention from all parties, registered in a notary’s deed, serve as a very high standard to preserve evidence. We represent the state with our appointed office, however, at the same time we consider ourselves service-oriented consultants.

For a number of important legal transactions it is mandatory to involve a notary (= the certification of a legal act e. g. a property sales contract or the establishment of a corporation). Furthermore, the parties have the opportunity to notarise contracts and other declarations of intent in order to benefit from the notary’s expert advice on the one hand, and also to receive a document on the discussed issues as a proof of evidence on the other. The notary assists in the following areas of law:

  • Real estate
Purchase, donation, life estate, creation of mortgages, land charges etc.
  • Trade law, corporate law, corporation
Establishment of corporations, trade register entries, corporate restructuring etc.
  • Inheritance law and donation law
Last will, inheritance contract, heir’s certificate application, execution of a will, inheritance dispute, anticipated inheritance, donation contracts and cession agreements etc.
  • Family, marriage and partnership
Marriage contract, divorce settlement agreement, adoption, partnership contract etc.
  • Durable power of attorney for healthcare, living will
